Gut-Healing Smoothie Bowl

We created this Gut Healing Smoothie Bowl recipe to help you support your gut microbiome and gut-brain axis. There has been a huge increase in clients with gut and mood imbalances over the past 3 years through our clinics and online consultations. To add to this over the past few months many of my clients are catching the Norovirus with vomiting, diarrhoea, fatigue, fever and other symptoms.

There is no better time to really boost your immune system and reset your gut microbiome to protect you from this new wave of viruses that we all need to learn to live with. By also supporting your gut you will help reactivate your gut-brain axis supporting a healthy mood so your stress and life triggers are less amplified, restoring joy to your everyday life.

If you feel like your gut needs extra love you can also download my Free Gut Healing guide here.

I have collated and used these tactical tips over 25 years with clients suspecting that they have candida and yeast overgrowth.

If you want to have excellent gut health and feel mentally and physically strong, you need to look at the balance of good to harmful bacteria in your gut.

Break Fast With This Smoothie Bowl

If you embrace intermittent fasting, this is a great way to break your fast; if you exercise, it’s a great post-workout & you can blitz and drink if you’re in a hurry; if you get sugar cravings in the afternoon, this is a great way to balance blood sugar levels to finish the day strong or if you feel like a no-fuss meal you can have this any time of the day. A fantastic versatile snack or meal however your day is going.

There is something extra-nourishing when you prepare a meal that looks so beautiful. It nourishes your mind, body and soul!

This recipe was actually inspired by my daughters Amelia and Isabella (who also shares the same birthday as her ‘Soul Sister’ Elle Macpherson), watch this space for more tasty recipes from my girls.
