Looking for a healthy drink recipe? Try this Healthy Pineapple Mojito this weekend!
Alcohol is a fun part of life, but we must choose self-care to keep this in balance so as not to reduce our physical & mental health.
I drink a little organic red wine or champagne, but they make me feel tired if have more than a glass or two, so I have them occasionally for special occasions (like my birthday).
I keep my weeks clean by eating well, exercising, and having good restorative sleep, I take Rejuv & WelleCo Supplements, lots of water, organic hygiene products, prayer/meditation and no alcohol.
Some weekends I have alcohol but not all. If I do choose to have a drink, I love my ‘Sim-Jito’ instead of a Mojito. One of my dear patients, Jayne, named it because it’s clean, has no sugar & it only has 40 calories.
As it has no sugar, I feel great the next day with no sugar/carb hangover often, with wine, beer & sugary cocktails, you end up feeling very rough the next day due to the extra sugar on top of the alcohol.
On weekends I always take my party pack for I like to have a treat meal with my family & it helps me process the alcohol too. Life is all about balance so we can live a life we love.
If you prefer non-alcoholic drinks, skip the vodka in this fresh mojito, or try one of my smoothies or juices.
